01
What goes over the network
SivaTools connects to the internet only for license validation. The request contains the license key, a hashed device identifier, and the activation identifier supplied by the licensing service.
As with every HTTPS request, the licensing provider can see the originating IP address. Lemon Squeezy’s own privacy policy applies to that service.
02
What is never uploaded
- Revit models, elements, geometry, or room data
- Project names, filenames, paths, sheets, or room names
- Takeoff results, areas, dimensions, or item codes
- Usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or crash reports
- Your Windows username, machine name, or license key in log files
03
What stays on your computer
The encrypted license cache is stored under %LOCALAPPDATA%\SivaTools\license.dat and is protected with Windows DPAPI for the current Windows user. Local logs, shared-parameter definitions, and optional settings also stay on the computer.
Logs contain command names, the Revit version, element counts, element IDs, and diagnostic details. They do not contain the license key or model content. A log is shared with support only when you choose to send it.
04
How SivaTools treats your project
Your shared-parameter filename is restored after temporary use, project-wide unit settings are not changed automatically, and model edits run only when you start a command. Model changes are grouped so a failed operation can be rolled back as one action.
05
Offline use and support
An internet connection is required for initial activation. After a successful validation, the documented license cache allows a limited offline period. For privacy questions or support, email yalpoarchitects@sivatools.app or yalpoarchitects@gmail.com.
